“It’s All About Choice”

One thing that you will find different at Fairview Manor is our approach toward our residents. We believe that everything we do should be centered around the resident in a way that gives them as much control and choice as possible.

Our Modified Meal Plan does just that. Our residents can chose each day when they want to get up. It becomes their choice, not the staff’s choice. Once they arise, they are greeted with a continental breakfast either in their room or in one of the household living areas. They spend their mornings doing just what they want to do.

At 10:30 they are presented with a buffet style brunch that consists of a variety of things to tempt their tastes. You will always find bacon, sausage, eggs and toast on the buffet as well as soup and sandwiches. Each day a special entrée is prepared such as pancakes, waffles, French toast, or a type of breakfast casserole. The Buffet is open each day until 11:30. This allows the resident to choose what time they want to eat.

Towards the early part of the afternoon, you will be greeted with Siesta Snack. Most all the residents look forward to this because it is usually something that is very tasty such as pie, root beer floats, pumpkin dessert, and many other mouth-watering options.

Supper is served from 4:30 to 5:30, and is also served Buffet Style. Each night the residents will find a large variety of different foods to choose from. A staff member helps each resident through the line, and they are able to choose what they want to eat. A small salad bar is also offered each night.

And last, but not least is the Night Cap Snack that comes out at 7:00 p.m. One can usually find a sandwich and a variety of other items such a fruit, ice cream, and juice on the snack cart. At Fairview Manor, you never have to go to bed hungry.
